Get Involved with Colorado Springs’ Free Tree Program

The City of Colorado Springs is launching the Grow Shade Together program, funded by a federal grant, offering free tree planting to eligible residents in low-canopy areas. Applications are open until March 18, 2026, with planting scheduled from April 20 to May 22, 2026. Residents north of Boulder St can purchase trees.
