The next step in the Mosaic Project is glazing.
Join us Wednesday, July 22 from 4–5pm at Frank’s garage studio near Mid Shooks Run Park to glaze the tiles we hand-made at our first session — plus a batch of commercial tiles we’ll be reglazing in yellow and green to round out the set.
No experience needed, same as last time. If you can show up and use your hands, join us.
A note for families: Children are welcome, and we’d love to have them involved. Please be aware that the workspace includes sharp tools and hot surfaces, so little ones will need a grown-up nearby.
There’s no cost to attend, but donations are warmly welcomed to help cover kiln time and materials.
Once these are fired, we’ll be that much closer to installation in the park itself. We hope to install the first mosaics during the 8 August Summer Fest.
