Increasing Biodiversity One Native Plant at a time

pollinator on flower

Our neighborhood is the ideal native plant habitat and more native plants means more habitat and food for native pollinators including butterflies, bees, and birds. You can help our neighborhood become the exemplary model of a Pollinator and Native Plant Habitat in Colorado Springs by planting more native Colorado plants. The Wild Ones Front Range Chapter (WOFR) will help you by providing plants again this year!

Wild Ones is a national, non-profit organization that wants to connect people with native plants. The Pikes Peak Region of WOFR is growing natives from seed, wildflowers and grasses that occur naturally in El Paso County and will provide color and interest throughout the year.

You can order a Native Plant Starter Kit from the Pikes Peak Region of WOFR, including 3 different species of native wildflowers and 1 native grass, at no cost to you! (Suggested donation of $10.00 accepted.) Make your reservation by clicking the button below to signup:

Quantities are limited. Place your order by May 15. The Starter Kits will be available for pickup on May 27th & 28th, 6:00 – 7:00 pm at a location in our neighborhood. Address will be provided once registration closes!
