The City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS) Department is updating its Park System Master Plan, and they want to hear from you! This is a crucial opportunity for all of us in the Middle Shooks Run neighborhood to help shape the future of our city’s parks, trails, open spaces, and recreation for the next 10 to 15 years.
As our neighborhood’s namesake and most beloved feature, Shooks Run Creek is at the heart of our community. While this plan covers the entire city’s park system, this is our chance to advocate for the things that are important to us in Shooks Run. Your feedback can help ensure our parks remains a top priority and receives the attention and improvements it deserves.
The city has a 10-minute online survey that includes an interactive map. This is your direct way to share your ideas, priorities, and vision. You can use the interactive map to pinpoint specific areas of concern or highlight features you love about Shooks Run or any other park in the city.
The survey and interactive map will close this Sunday, August 3.
